Dr Sunil Lalloo BDS
Dental Surgeon, GDC No. 79493

As a Dental Surgeon at Knighton Dental Practice, my days include a huge variety of tasks including general dental provision, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Implantology.

For me, it is the continued health provision for such a huge range of people, from young to old, that makes me enjoy my work as much as I do. I take great gratification in being able to improve a person’s oral health and self-esteem from their dental appearance.

In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling, walking and gardening as well as spending time with my family.

Dr. Karishma Kanabar MChd BChd BSc MFDS

I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2017 and went onto complete my Dental Foundation Training in Northampton and at Knighton Dental Practice. Since then, I attained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

I love working as a dentist, mainly due to being able to help my patients and educate them about their oral health. I am an empathetic and caring dentist and always strive to ensure my patient’s are comfortable. My favourite aspect about Knighton Dental Practice is the supportive and friendly dental team.

Jaina Mistry DIPDHDT
Dental Hygienist & Dental Therapist, GDC No. 252136

I am a specialist in gum/periodontal treatments, working to help patients to maintain their oral health by preventing gum and periodontal disease and promoting good oral health.

My days in practice contain a huge amount of variety – on some days you will find me taking radiographs, and on others I will be carrying out periodontal assessment, or charting and diagnosing perio diseases.

The most rewarding aspect of my job is getting to see patients responding positively to treatments. It’s also great to see patients improve their own oral health based on my advice and work.

When I’m not in the practice, you’ll find me spending time with my niece and nephews, socialising or enjoying a weekend away somewhere relaxing.

I started my love of dental hygiene in 1997, where I attended Leeds dental institute. In the last 22 years as Dental Hygienist I have learnt so much about periodontal disease and the effects it has on my patients.

I relocated to Quorn from Buckinghamshire in 2015 along with my Husband and his signage business. I have two wonderful girls and a chocolate Labrador called Digby. When I’m not at work helping my patients, taking x-rays and treatment planning, I’m restoring furniture and running around after my girls.
