PATIENT NOTICE
EFFECTIVE FROM: MONDAY 23rd MARCH 2020

Dear Patients,

To protect staff and patients, and following recommendations from Governing bodies, the practice will be closed for routine examinations and dental treatment to prevent further spread of the COVID-19 virus. This was a difficult decision but also one that makes complete sense in order to protect the public and lives.

If you have a true SEVERE dental emergency, such as:

• an extensive infection causing swelling, difficulty breathing, or swallowing
• or severe dental pain which is keeping you awake at night time and constant
• or a sharp tooth which has caused a severe laceration to the tongue or cheek
• or trauma which has resulted in loose or lost teeth

PLEASE CALL: 01162 707 803 TO BE TRIAGED BY ONE OF OUR TEAM AND AN APPOINTMENT WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU.

If you are in the middle of ongoing treatment, which is deemed urgent, if not dealt with asap, you will be contacted, and appointments will be brought forward so this can be completed as a matter of urgency.

We will contact you asap if your appointment is to be postponed.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to return to our normal service as soon as we are able to.
